Catalogue introduction

The Catalogue is maintained by the EUMETDAPS Secretariat in close cooperation with the EUMETDAPS Members. It displays all meteorological information (data and products) available for commercial re-use under a EUMETNET license from the EUMETDAPS Members.

Using a one-stop-shop principle, all of the data and products a customer requires from the catalogue can all be ordered from any one of the EUMETDAPS Members (indicated with an * in the list of Members) so you only need one contract with one supplier.

An increasing amount of Data and Products in the catalogue are available free of charge (a delivery cost might still be applicable).

As a minimum this will be, for each Member, at least all data and products exchanged globally and classified as "essential" in the WMO programs.

However, some Members have also declared other data and products non chargeable. Currently the following Members have an “open data policy”: Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia and Sweden.

Please take into account that international products offered by these services might still be chargeable, if they use data from a Member that still has data charges.
